Whenever I study the Bible, I often start in one place and the Holy Spirit takes me on a journey through scripture for a wholistic lesson that always leads back to the principle of putting our faith in God by reading His Word and then growing that faith by taking action. By no means have I arrived at a perfect place of faith, rather, I’ve learned that becoming more like God is a journey and a process that’s worthy of our commitment. And a part of that commitment is taking the time to read His Word and put what He teaches us in the Spirit to action.
